Matthew Silley participated in the Cyber Risk Quantification Session as a speaker, alongside Peter Armstrong, (Munich Re), Thomas Harvey (RMS) and Kara Owens (Markel), moderated by Julie Eichenseer (Guidewire: Cyence Risk Analytics).
The panelists discussed the impact of cyber risk quantification in the growth of the insurance market, the strengths and weaknesses of current approaches, the lessons from other types of risk, the utilization of techniques such as Machine Learning and AI, and the end goals of cyber risk quantification techniques.
Joshua Pyle participated in the Reinsurance Session as a speaker, alongside Patrick Bousfield (Capsicum Re), Gina Pilla (Arch) and Matt Prevost (Chubb), moderated by Noel Pearman (AXA XL).
The panelists covered topics such as coverage and claims, modeling aggregation, silent cyber and clash coverage.
