Predictive Analytics Seminar

Toronto

Casualty Actuarial Society, Society of Actuaries, and Canadian Institute of Actuaries will jointly host a Predictive Analytics Seminar in Toronto. We expect this seminar to attract US and Canadian actuaries working in the predictive analytics field across life, health, and P&C insurance. As part of this conference, there has been interest expressed in hosting a session on “Advances in Cyber Risk Modelling.” We are hoping to plan a panel discussion to explain the key drivers of cyber risk, the data and modelling techniques used to calibrate and validate cyber risk models, and the output and usage of probabilistic models. By the end of this session, we hope the audience will learn about how cyber risk models can support product development, underwriting, pricing, portfolio optimization, and capital allocation for the cyber line of business.
