CyberCube’s CEO, Pascal Millaire sat on the advisory board for the Cyber Risk Insights Conference 2019, organized by Advisen in San Francisco.
Pascal participated in a session about the Outage of Cloud Services Providers and Systemic Risk for Cyber Underwriters, alongside James F. Reed (Assistant Vice President, E&O Division, Allied World) and Philip Rosace (Sales Consultant, Guidewire Cyence Risk Analytics). It was moderated by Sean Hoar (Partner, Lewis Brisbois).
Panelists discussed how catastrophic scenarios can include a major cloud provider going down for an extended period of time. It discussed topics including: How likely is that scenario? What systems do cloud providers use to mitigate that risk? What is the potential business and financial impact? How would insurance likely respond?
