Since ITC launched in 2016, outside of blockchain, very few buzzwords have had the focus and staying power that cyber has. And, for good reason. It has been one of, if not, the biggest growth area in commercial insurance. That growth may be unequivocal, but the verdict is still out on just how well the industry will do in the face of a large number of simultaneous claims. Unlike any other form of protection, cyber risk knows no geographical boundaries. This places even more emphasis on making sure the insurance industry is prepared in order for us to be there for the insured.
