My name is Jonathan Kimber and I'm head of cyber reinsurance at MS Amlin. So a few of the challenges we faced were that when we're as a treaty reinsurer, we're underwriting the entirety of a portfolio. So we really wanted to understand the accumulations or potential vulnerabilities of these portfolios. We also wanted to consistently model and so we needed good data and enhanced data where needed.

One of the ways that CyberCube has changed the way we think of accumulation is that we we can now look at accumulation across our portfolio. We also license the SPoF model. So we're able to look at specific tech dependencies in a portfolio and see what our exposure is to those tech dependencies. As a treaty reinsurer, we're underwriting at a portfolio level and that's essential.

So part of the value that CyberCube adds is enabling us to underwrite at a portfolio level, but also combine that analysis and look at an aggregated view, and that helps us to make better informed decisions about when to scale up our capacity or maybe scale down if we need to.

CyberCube has helped us grow with confidence in that it's helped us to identify with our existing book where we have accumulations or concentrations that then enable us to look at a new piece of business and think about, does this diversify away from that or does it add to that accumulation?  Which ultimately helps us to support our clients and deploy our capacity with more confidence. Cyber is a very fast-paced and evolving risk and CyberCube enhances the level of information we're able to use in our underwriting but also to portfolio manage.
