So I work at Odyssey Re. I'm a  AVP senior underwriter at Odyssey Re.

So on the reinsurance side, some of the things I love working with CyberCube on - definitely the threat intelligence and the level of expertise that CyberCube brings to the cyber insurance market.

I think a very wide range but very talented team that knows a lot about the industry, a lot about, the technical things that need to be known, but also the business side of things. But also just working as a client of theirs, just the help that they provide to their clients and some of the ways, you know, when our management is asking us questions about either event response or things like that.

You know, we're usually talking to CyberCube and leaning on them. So, big help in that way. Having multiple products and capabilities with CyberCube under kind of one roof is really helpful just because it gives you a wider range of tools at your availability to assess the risk better.

So you know we use two different products. We use Exposure Manager which is super helpful in understanding the security of companies in a prospective book or a book of our clients and we can use that to kind of compare what we're hearing from our clients and also what we're hearing or what we think the book should look like and then we also license the SPoF tool.

So understanding in event response you know,  what our dependencies are and things like that. It's very helpful to have multiple tools that we can use and then again to really lean on the expertise of CyberCube and their understanding of what's going on and making sure we're we're using those tools correctly.

Yeah. So I think the main thing with SPoF for us is understanding in the event of some large cat event, right? So, big news headlines, our head of the underwriting for North America will reach out to my boss Chris and reach out to our team and say, "Hey, look, like I'm seeing all these things in the headlines. What can you tell me about our exposure?" So, that's where we can use the SPoF tool to really understand and at least get a general estimation of what type of damage the potential event could have.

Especially looking at certain portfolios that may have an oversized concentration to the specific technology that's been impacted. Use CDK as an example. So last year there was you know a big cyber event that impacted a car dealership processing payment processing. So the challenge there was how do we know which books are more heavily concentrated to this risk. And so using SPoF we were actually able to see that right see that there was certain books that had an overarching concentration to this technology whereas the vast majority of our book didn't. So that was something we were able to kind of say back to our head of underwriting just to kind of level the playing field a little bit calming down.

The value that CyberCube brings is pretty tremendous, right? So the level of technical expertise of the insurance market is very helpful. So they understand the coverages, they understand the types of cyber insurance that are being written, but they also have the cyber security expertise that I think is a lot less prevalent in the market. And so CyberCube being able to provide both of those things in tandem is is really quite helpful.
